My love for nasheed began in primary school, where we would perform nasheeds during thikr. I was always drawn to the way the different voices came together, but more than that, I loved how spiritually touching it was and how connected it made me feel to my deen.

That feeling stayed with me and led me to join my first nasheed group, Aswaatul Quloob, where I remained from primary school right through to the end of high school. Along the way, nasheed became more than just something I enjoyed performing; it became a meaningful part of my journey.

In 2023, I joined Quloob un Nur, alongside Raees and Zuhayr George, who I had shared that same journey with in Aswaatul Quloob. Having that shared passion and bond brought us together again, and ultimately led me to becoming part of Quloob today, Alhamdulillah.
