My journey with nasheed started from a young age, where I developed a deep love for the beauty of nasheed through harmonisation and looking up to nasheed groups and artists. A few years later I got the opportunity to take part in the annual high school nasheed competition.
After getting exposure through leading Salatul Layls and performing at nasheed events with my high school TLC, I was afforded the opportunity to be part of the Quloob brotherhood.
Alhamdulillah, I am honoured to be part of this heart-warming nasheed industry: learning and interacting with the best learned scholars in Cape Town, international artists, and most importantly our role models and seniors in nasheed. Every day I feel continuous growth, eager to learn more from everyone around me to gain the pleasure of Allah. I am immensely grateful for everyone that has played any role in my journey.
